One of the benefits of living in Florida is the opportunity to see beautiful sunsets. I have changed my schedule to make sure that I do not miss the opportunity to see the live sunset show as much as I can. It is a chance to see nature at work, untouched by human hands.
The sunsets are like works of art painted on a canvas of a blue sky. How often do we actually make the time to not only watch but experience a sunset? Personally, watching them allows me to feel connected to the universe and to briefly escape from the daily activities.
I especially enjoy sunsets when traveling. Recently, when traveling in the Arizona desert, the sunsets looked even more spectacular. Perhaps the lack of humidity or other natural conditions affected my perspective. In any event, they looked different and beautiful.
The message however was the same.
The universe is greater than we are and can be beautiful if we just look.
